In recent years, with the rapid development of education informatization in various countries, 3D printing technology has been popularized and applied in education.

As teaching equipment of emerging technologies, 3D printers have also received extensive attention from educational institutions at home and abroad. The cultivation of innovative and technical talents has become one of the most important trends in the education field.

Today, a Belgian school -- GTI Beveren will be introduced that how does it apply 3D printing in students’ study life.

GTI Beveren is a STEM school that includes three departments from elementary school to high school. Its teaching spirit is to combine emerging technology with teaching through school-enterprise cooperation and strive to cultivate the multifaceted talents of each student.

Recently, GTI Beveren teamed up with Flashforge to deploy 10 Adventurer 3 in the school laboratory for the teaching of science and technology courses for students.

The course is mainly for students aged 12-14, and the teaching period of one stage is about 10 weeks. The teaching contents are mainly 3D printing operations and basic 3D drawing designs.

In order to better use Adventurer 3, the school also installed Xbox Kinect for 3D scanning. This motion sensing game allows students to scan by themselves and print with the 3D printer, contributing to the fun of teaching.

The reason why GTI Beveren chooses Adventurer 3 as its first choice is that this printer is simple and easy to use, and its intelligent operation is suitable for young students. Also, the fully enclosed cabin design guarantees the safety of students when they are using the equipment.

Even students are wearing the masks, their pride and satisfaction in their creations can be felt.

Although this is only the first step for them to start 3D printing design learning, these practices can inspire them to make more imaginative and creative design products.

The popularization of 3D printing education offers more students opportunities to learn the equipment and master related technologies.

As a new teaching mode, 3D printing operation helps to cultivate students' spatial imagination and 3D modeling ability, and further enhances their creativity and hands-on ability. At the same time, it also encourages students to take the initiative to learn about interdisciplinary knowledge and skills.

Flashforge has been paying close attention to the application of 3D printing technology in education. As a leading company in the 3D printing industry, Flashforge is deeply aware of its mission and has been committed to improving students' innovative capability for a long time to provide better education solutions without slack in exploring new cooperation models.

In the future, it is hoped that 3D printing technology can be popularized in more schools and institutions, strengthening the theoretical knowledge and practical ability of students. At the same time, this emerging technology is believed to inject new energy into the education industry and jointly promote the vigorous development of school-enterprise cooperation and high-quality talent training.
