Summer is coming to an end… and that means back to school! It's typically a time to start looking for school supplies, but that doesn't mean you have to buy everything! With 3D digital models and a 3D printer, you can get real school supplies! To help students' fully experience the fun of 3D modeling and 3D printing, Flashforge sponsored a 3D modeling contest held by PDO Academy.
What Contest?
Create an original 3D model that is back to school and/or office supplies related, and submit it to Thangs.com. Participants are required to invent original/innovative 3D models that can solve a problem!
The contest is seeking student's creative ideas. Here are some ideas to get you kickin' - pencil cases, stationery holders, paper clips, paper tray, book holders, locker storage, or headphone holder.
Flashforge 3D Printer granted!
The grand prize is partly sponsored by Flashforge. Despite that the entry works are not required to be 3D printed in the contest, having a 3D printer and turning a 3D model from digital to physical would be pretty wonderful for participants! Flashforge Adventurer 3 worth US$359 will be granted as the 1st place prize!

Participate Criteria
1. Submit Entry: upload your 3D model designs to Thangs.com including the hashtag #DIY in the model's description
Note: put the hashtag in the description and NOT the title of the model
2. No limit to the number of entries per contestant
3. Include 2-3 sentences explaining your design
The more detail included in the story, the more the judges will understand your idea!
4. Contest deadline: until Friday, September 3rd, 2021 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Judges
Entries will be judged on quality, creativity, adherence to the contest theme, and suitability for 3D printing.
