All of the Flashforge machine are of the highest quality, economical to operate and maintain, trouble free, and provide the best value for the dollar of any 3D printer on the market today. I have 2 5M's and one 5X that run non-stop without issue. Thank you Flashforge for your contributions to the 3D printing community. Hands down an improvement of the other brands I also own.
This light is very bright. It lights up my AD5M wonderfully. We'll worth the money, especially if you have an enclosure.
The AD5X is an awesome 3D Printer. I owned the 5M Pro before this and I also love that printer. Both are great. It would be awesome if theyd include either the camera or the cover for it though. But the printer itself is the best, no problems yet. P.s. I did have a power outage towards the end of a 3d print, I am so grateful for the software, it didnt lose its spot and no mistakes after continuing! And I was already and Orca Slicer user, I love the orca flashforge!!
I would rather make something than buy it. I may never have to buy anything again. Okay maybe not really but I have really enjoyed this 3d printer. Pretty straight forward set up with tools included. Self leveling makes start up a breeze. Slicer is pretty basic but works. I printed a few animals from other creators for my nephews and they printed out pretty fast (2 cubic in figurines in 4 mins on default settings). Now I'm getting into 3d modeling and designed and printed a pill holder so I don't forget my squirrel meds.
I'm just blown away how good this printer works out of the box and how fast it is! Really compact for ith build volume and nicely put together.
Been having so much fun printing all the fun things. Was a printing beginner and it was super easy to set up and start using.
I'm really happy with the ADX5, it makes beautiful prints right of the box, this paired with a little experience can make really good prints and results. The auto filament loading really makes my life easier and helps me do longer projects without needing to be in the same room.
I’ve had many filament printers but this is the first that does most of the little tasks for you. Self bed leveling, bed and nozzle temp based on specific filament used, the AD5X does it all for you. Very easy to set up and easy to slice files to print! Will probably purchase another one soon!
It's very easy to use, plug and play. The printing quality is above my expectations.
Being a newbie to 3D printing, I found the flashforge AD5X to be easy to set up, easy to manage and great in price. I have no complaints. I have been printing none stop. The best part of this all is it is quite since my only option for placement was my bedroom I found I can let it run all night with out an issue. The software work goo orca flashforge and I’m able to see the progress on my phone. I have installed my own security camera to watch the progress which has been the best decision made. I made the best decision to get the AD5X. Thank you so much.
I've been a 3D printing hobbyist since 2005. Upgrading to a new printer every 5 years. I was just looking for filament when an ad for the Flashforge AD5X popped up. Price point seemed too good to be true for a 4 color printer, but I figured, why not? So it just "jumped" into my cart and has been printing continuously since it arrived 2 weeks ago.
Amazingly fast. Self leveling saves time, headaches and stress. Perfect layers which become perfect prints.
I've had a few filament jams, but these are all my bad for using old, brittle filament. But the silver lining is that it forced me to learn how to disassemble the print head/extruder assembly to clear the jam. (Thank you YouTube!) Hint - When you get your printer, make sure to 3D print replacement PTFE clips. The file may be found on Makerworld.com. It is good to have extra clips, just in case yours gets lost or broken, and the clip that you print is much easier to remove and replace than the one that comes with the printer.
The other downside, which I think is the case for all single extruder, multicolor 3d printers is the "****"/filament purging... SO MUCH! 2 to 3 times the weight of the printed object. I've been testing and tinkering and watching YouTubes to see how to minimize the purging...
Still, this is the best 3D printer I've owned, at a price that won't break the bank.
Here are a few print pics.
Yes... which one is not like the others...
although you may sense the theme....
Great packaging , shipping, and ease of assembly. Few minor issues. Had to install extra hinges on the top to prevent pfte tubes from knocking top off enclosure during printing. Had to cut 30mm of top of pfte entry acrylic panel and install under panel for added strain relief and free movement. Had to print a 25mm spacer for ifs mount for additional strain relief as well. Also shaved tab off bottom of screen mount front piece where notches into frame to prevent print head collisions. Otherwise would have been 5 stars.
The Flashforge Adventure 5M is a great product for me, this is my first ever 3D Printer and absolutely love it. I’m sad that it’s not a multicoloured printer but is ok, I can pause the machine and change the filament. Otherwise Excellent and Great Quality Product for The Price I paid for it. Image attached is what I sell and what I’ve made so far will the Elegoo PLA Filament and I think it’s going to be a big seller!
Mine came with 4 random colors to get me started. They came in seperate packages. So far were not sendig this unit back we are sending our creativity to to the moon. No complaints. it did jam once early on but cleared that. and shes running great. reccomend using the level option every time. its worked for me so far and takes a few minutes to ensure even though you leveled it last time, you know this time its level too.
Ony complaint. The printer ****. (purge chunks) should have came with a solution to handle that . they jut **** out the back and fly every where. not cute. a mess. It could have a simple bin that slides in and catches them and routes them to the side. there are STL's out there for this but i mean come on. straight on the ground. 4 colors. purging constant. thats a slip and trip hazard lol. other than that. The ony thing i could ask for is a dual sided bed. on smooth pei the other textured, I got a textured one that works fine.
I have no problems nor have I experienced any issues with any of your products; be it 3D Printers (I have 2), filament (I have 18 spools) nor accessories. My only issue is with back ordered items. With both my printers (5M and AD5X) I want to encase them. I ordered the 5M hardware and printed the required pieces. Everything went great! However, I can't say the same of the AD5X enclosure. My issue is that its been back-order since August 18th (order #17577). I have all the pieces printed and ready to go, but no hardware. I you could send this item ASAP it would be greatly appreciated. My order shows a B/O until 20 Sept. Is there any way to get sooner? Thanks. Still greatly satisfied customer!!!! Patt
As soon as i got the Adventurer 5m pro, I followed the instructions on preparing the printer. Once done I didnt even do a test print. I print things for my wife's shop and I set my print for draft cause we prep and paint them. this first print was a skull and coming from an ender 3pro this blew it out of the water 10 folds. Draft looks way better then enders, and the same print from 20hrs to almost 7hrs. I can only imagine how these prints would look if i had a better setting then Draft. The speed is insane. it is a single color filament printer perfect for what I print. When ready I will definitely be interested in getting a multi color filament from FlashForge.
My printer arrived today. When I saw how it was barely taped up, I knew this machine was not well packed. The printer had minimal packing and was loose inside the box. It’s completely scratched up. I feel ripped off for buying this refurbish. Extra parts came in a zip lock bag. Very unprofessional.
The enclosure was very easy to print and assembled
I bought this for my printer as a spare. The box was shipped in an envelope that was crushed! I sent pictures and an email to the address in the box but have not heard anything back. The nozzle looks damaged, maybe bent.
I have not stop creating sincei got my new Ad5x. Easy set up and easy to work.
Good upgrade to the original nozzle! Picture on my package was of the older model, but product itself is as described.
I received my order quickly. I have printed with a few of the PLA filaments I received. The pciture shows the dragon printed from HS PLA and the tower printed from Silk PLA.
